Built between 1949 and 1953, Crescent Village was originally comprised of 97 four unit townhouse buildings, for a total of 388 units, situate in three groups on 27 and one half acres. Owned by the Province of New Brunswick, they are managed by the Department of Family and Community Services. Work is presently underway to redevelop the lands to accommodate a mixed income future development. The southerly 88 units along Churchill Boulevard have been demolished.
