  • The clearing is awesome for kite flying and picnicing. it connects the artist trail and the trail that goes to the old mill. Technically, all the area on the bottom of a creek valley is called a flat. If you are going to label something that everyone can see you should really try and make it acurate and useful.
  • That tree in this field, to the lower left, fell down as a result of the fierce winds that night in September. Maybe it was lightning? Either way, it took a hell of a lot of force to knock it over.
