A former railway station. Built by the Turks during WWI on the narrow-gauge Afula - Jenin - Tulkarm line, later a junction (break-of-gauge) station on the standard gauge Haifa - Lydda British-built main line. Disconnected from the network in 1948 (territory was occupied by Jordan until 1968).
