At low tide, you can see the remains of a shipwreck at the third "ditch" south of the boat ramp. It is about a 40 minute walk and you can get stranded by the tide; many locals use a golf cart or atv to visit. The shipwreck is unidentified although efforts are underway to do a marine archaelogical dig on the remains.
