  mararikkulam temple is the one of the most famous temple in kerala, in the temple sree parvathy sits opposite side to face lord shiva for getting the shiva as her husband. In this temple the lord shiva and sreeparvathy are swayambhu that means they come from earth as stones.In this time we can see that stones.

  Marari is our family god as well as to area covering under the name "Mararikulam". The famous AARAATTU which take place in ARABIAIN SEA. We all r the devotees of Marari (i.e. Marane(Kamdev) Hanichhavan Marari). There are some stories about this temple.
