Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Assamese: লোকপ্ৰিয় গোপীনাথ বৰদলৈ আন্তঃৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় বিমানবন্দৰ) (IATA: GAU, ICAO: VEGT), also known as Guwāhāti International Airport and formerly as Borjhar Airport, is the airport of Guwahati, Assam, India. The airport is managed by Airports Authority of India. It is named after Gopinath Bordoloi who was a freedom fighter and also the first CM of Assam after independence.

  • There is not a single good restaurant in this airport. Govt owned and operated restaurant is expensive, dark, and enjoy the foul odor.
  • need for better infrastructure...does not look like international...and should be because it is the gateway of north-east..
