  • Sednaya Satellite Earth Station This is the communication centre for Syria. It provides international TV, internet and telephone connections. The main antenna was installed by China in approx 1990. The RF equipment was upgraded by a UK company approx 2001. The station is manned by government staff who are paid at the national minimum wage.
