A long-planned attraction that was originally planned as a large wakeboarding park (known as "Wakeside at the Barracks"). The first phase opened in 2013 only to Barracks residents but the second phase opened June 2017 (as "The Cove") with the Southpaw restaurant, LongShot coffee bar, and beer garden coming later.

  • Only the smaller of the two retention ponds is open at the present. The developer has employed members of the TAMU Wake Board team to supervise the operation of the equipment. On Sunday, May 12, 2013, they installed two jumps for the wake board riders. They come out of the water 3 or 4 feet.
  • It's a homonym of "Barracks".
