  • There were daya when I am in 5th Standard, the school's capacity is around 3-4 thousands. We have 3 sections for each class., even in my 10th Standard my section's strength is 60+. There is only one thing that can happen for one who studied here. He could become very much great person or on the other hand a rebel in the society. :)
  • I studied here from 1st standard to 10th standard(MARCH-2000).SolmonRaj(Principal).
  • Studiel all my schooling here from LKG through 10th, 8th and 9th Standards in Solomon English Medium School, which was run by the current HM Solomon Sir
  • Solmon used to be a very tough mathematics teacher. He used to physically abuse students in years 1980-84. I heard someone saying that some ex-students beat him black & blue. Is he O.K now? I personally feel his teaching style is different than other teachers.
  • I studied lkg to 8'th standard hear. very nice school. Ben and M.satyanarayana were my best friends and unfortunateluy i am not in touch with them. they use to call me Gopal. If any one of friends see this message please be in touch.

  • Solomon Raj (Saligadu or Meesalodu as better known) was a terror amongst the students. Known more for his whimsical idiosyncrasies than teaching, he thought he could bring about military style discipline into the school. He was very cruel to the students who did not join his private tuitions! Inhuman corporal punishment was an order of the day with most teachers there – be it Solomon Raj or Ravindranath or many other so-called ‘teachers’!! Having come out of that prison-like institution, my reminiscences are only of the punishments, pain and fear, rather than any happiness during those learning years. Students were mercilessly beaten either with bare hands or with ruler-scales/canes till they broke, wooden blocks of chalk-dusters thrown at them, pieces of chalk were hurled with full force, asked to write imposition a 1000 times by the next day, made to kneel in the hot sun, books flung out of the class door, made to stand out of the class the entire hour for being a wee bit late etc. Is this how they bring about discipline in the classroom? If someone really bet him black-n-blue, they did a great job. They had the balls to do that. They fucking deserve more. I don’t know if that brought about any change/fear in them, otherwise each of them should be given few more ‘washings’ (maybe more intense) – military style!!! so that they never ever dare to punish a child again. Even after so many years of leaving that school, I still bear vengeance in my heart against the teachers who brutally punished kids. Till date, though they would have grown older by the years, I would want to avenge the treatment meted out to us in more measure. Watch out guys… you reap what you sow… you will pay (more heavily) for every blow.

  • I felt very bad after going through the comments from past students regarding teachers of LEM. I too have studied in LEM from 4th standard to 10th and I never faced any such incident. I have lot of good memories from my schooling. I do agree that the teachers were a little bit strict in those days and I also feel that what ever they did is for ourselves. We use to speak in english & did every thing out of fear and it helped a lot for us in our life. It is shame on our part to blame the teachers who tought us everything better than other schools
  • I agree with madhavi. Mr. Solomon have made us speak in english. so many students of so called private schools are still not able to do that as solomon students do it.
  • Hai every one i am vardhan this scholl is very good school

  • hay guys i have done my schooling here frm 4th yo 10th i have enjoyed my schooling very much now iam studyng my +2
  • Studied here from 6th to 10th. Maths teacher Solomon sir was a terror. My high school years were a horrible nightmare in this school. When I studied in the early 90s, the school strength was in thousands. I had a chance to visit the school recently and it's in ruins. School strength is just a few dozens. I guess we can vow the decline of the school to the terribly strict teachers!!

  • I studied there 1965 to 1970. It was a great school then. Unfortunately! it fell in the hands of the wrong people who neglected its development totally all these years. I was the SPL during that time. Dr. Susan Glatz our founder and Mrs. M. Maday HM great administrators who steered the school into number # 1 in a short period of time. I have some GOOD NEWS for all the alumnus. It will be developed very soon - Emmanuel Paul, New Jersey, USA.
