King Island

A small (and the only) island in Waskesiu Lake, north of South Bay and just northeast of Trippes Beach. Originally named Devil's Island after a Cree legend, it was renamed King Island after William Lyon Mackenzie King, prime minister of Canada when Prince Albert National Park was created.
