The largest and most-developed of the Lakeland lakes. Along its shores are the communities of Nies Beach, Sunset Bay, Sunnyside, Carwin Park, Guise Beach, Macintosh Point, Murray Point and Okema Beach. Murray Point Campground is located in the Emma Lake Recreational Site. The Kenderdine Campus of the University of Saskatchewan is also located on the lakeshore. Most residents do not stay year-round, but it is extremely popular in the summer.
