The Ellora visitors' centre is smaller than the one at Ajanta caves, It has an approximate floor area of 12,000 sq m, which includes an exhibition area of 2,000 sq m. Exhibition stalls display local articles. A special parking area has been created outside this centre. This will be used in place of the current parking area outside the caves, as fumes from vehicles parked in the area harm the caves.
In addition, two mini-theatres with cycloramas can be seen at the Ellora centre.
