Middelpunt Farm is located in the Highlands of Mpumalanga on top of the escarpment. It is situated at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. Being close to Belfast, it is in the area where some of the lowest temperatures are recorded during winter. Summer temperatures are moderate and the area is in the summer rainfall belt.

Middelpunt has a private guesthouse, many dams, a small Eucalyptus and Pine plantation, but farms mainly with beef cattle.
