Located between Providence Creek and the Umpqua River, across from Cannery island, Leeds island is privately owned ranch land. At low tides the island's sandy beaches are visible. The confluence of Providence creek and the Umpqua river at the islands northern tip is a popular spot for sturgeon and salmon fishing.
