6-story office building originally built in the early 1800s as a smaller structure. In 1882, it was renovated from a 4-story building of brick and granite and converted from a warehouse to offices with a fifth floor added. The facade was stuccoed over in 1920, and a mansard roof was added in 1925, to a design by Walker & Gillette, and a ground-floor storefront was inserted to next year. The building's facade today has been painted and scored to resemble stone blocks. It stands six floors, with a dormered, copper mansard roof above a projecting cornice. The Beaver Street elevation has five tall, narrow, square-headed windows on each of the four middle stories. The mansard roof has three dormers facing Beavers Street, and five on the side elevation. This facade, on New Street, has five wider bays, with flat uninterrupted piers flanking the middle bay. The rear facade on Marketfield Street resembles the Beaver Street facade, but is only four bays wide. The ground floor is occupied by Burger King, and a small convenience store, with a florist on the 2nd story.
