Adappan Kulam - It is one of the premier water resources primarily used for Drinking water supply for the western part of the town. Well planned and maintained by British Government on the water catchment areas. Due to lack of importance and insufficient funding and encroachments on the catchment area this resorvouir doesn't get sufficient amount of water nowdays and lost its importance.
