Most of the people, owning lands and cultivating oraganic folds like rice,cotton, sunflower,sugarcane etc.And this village is famous for 'cruz malai maatha kovil' which is located on top of a hill on the east side of the village and also it is having another one church called st.John Berchmans Church.
