The Valero Benicia Refinery, built circa 1969 on the site of the old federal Benicia Arsenal. The refinery was originally built in 1969 by Humble Oil (now ExxonMobil) and was owned and operated by Exxon Corporation until the merger of Exxon and Mobil in 1999, at which time the refinery and all associated operations were sold to Valero.
The refinery has a feedstock throughput capacity of 170,000 barrels per day (BPD)
