Coventry Cross is a modern version of the historic market cross, such as was common in many medieval market towns. It is an important landmark in the cathedral city of Coventry, England. There have been several Coventry Crosses over the years. The last Market Cross in Coventry was destroyed in 1771 and the present cross was rebuilt in 1976.
