275-foot, 28-story postmodern hotel building completed 2013. Designed by Flatiron Architects, it contains two separate hotels, the Hotel Boutique, and Club Quarters Hotel, with separate entrances and lobbies. The 2-story base is clad in grey granite, metal and glass. The entrance to the Hotel Boutique is recessed at the south end on Lexington Avenue, under a grey metal canopy. The entrance to the Club Quarters Hotel is near the center of the north facade on 45th Street, under a navy blue metal canopy. Between the entrances are plate-glass storefronts. The base is capped by a white pre-cast stone projecting shelf.
The mid-section is clad in red brick, with four bays of double-windows on the north facade. The windows are divided by beige metal mullions, and have thin, white pre-cast spandrels. The mullions are much thinner at the western bay, which wraps around the corner, and the spandrels at this bay project out. The west facade on the avenue has a central bay of single-windows, flanked by bays of double-windows and end bays of single-windows, the northern one wrapping around the corner. The southern end has another bay of single-windows that ends at the 8th floor, and a short 4-story section where the hotel entrance is. This section has paired windows at the 3rd floor and metal louvers at the 4th floor, which a white pre-cast stone cap. The midsection sets back above the 12th floor, which is also capped by a white pre-cast stone band course.
The upper floors are faced in tan pre-cast panels. The north facade has a section on the west that isn't as far set back, which has three bays of single-windows, the western one wrapping around the corner. The eastern of the three bays ends at a small setback above the 18th floor, and the rest of the projecting section has another small setback above the 20th floor, and ends at the 22nd floor. The main, further-setback part of the north facade has a bay of tripartite windows at the east. The west facade on the avenue has four bays of single-windows, the northern one wrapping around the corner. The middle two offset to the right beginning at the 21st floor, and the northern bay ends at the setback of the projecting section.
The 26th floor has a glassed-in west end, above which it is set back to the rest of the crown, which is faced in black-painted pre-cast concrete. There is a large, 4-over-3 window on the north facade, topped by the mechanical housings. The south elevation has two bays of tripartite windows and a bay of single-windows toward the front. The east elevation is windowless, faced in concrete. The ground floor between the lobbies is occupied by a TD Bank branch, and Davio's restaurant.
