4-story mercantile building completed sometime in the early 1900's by Cross & Cross as a branch of the Kidder, Peabody & Co. bank. The lower three floors are faced in beige-painted limestone, with a brown brick top floor. There is a grey granite water table, and two narrow end entrances to retail space. A central, vertical show-windows is flanked by a pair of wider show-windows, with rounded, projecting moldings. The center show-window is topped by a rounded pediment carried on two slender brackets, with a garlanded medallion bearing the number 10. The extra-tall 2nd floor has large, multi-paned windows with orange-tinted glass; the center opening is narrower. The 3rd floor is underlined by a cornice, with a stone wreath in the center, and recessed openings at the ends with balustrades. The brick top floor has five single-windows.
