4-story modernist commercial building completed in 2012. Designed by TPG Architecture, it is known as the M & B Building, short for Manufacturers & Builders. The facade is almost entirely glass, with a stainless-steel band across the top of the ground floor, and a granite water table. The spandrels between floors are opaque white glass. The main entrance is at the east end on 57th Street, with a glass revolving door flanked by a traditional glass door and window. There is a stainless-steel service door at the far east end, and a glass-and-stainless-steel canopy over the entrance. On the west facade on the avenue, the north end of the building only extends to the 3rd floor. The ground floor is occupied by an entrance to Design Within Reach (occupied the 2nd & 3rd floors), Elite Home Furnishings, a TD Bank branch, and Mansour Fine Rugs.
