4-story residential building completed in the late 1800s as a townhouse. It is faced in brown-painted smooth stucco, with three bays of windows. The entrance at the east side of the ground floor has a black wooden door down a couple steps. A low concrete wall and iron fencing enclosed a small patio area to the left. Both the 1st- & 2nd-floor windows have iron grilles, and the windows on the upper floor have simple projecting stone sills. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with console brackets and panels, and there is a metal railing around the roof deck on top.

The townhouse was renovated in 1949 for designer Russel Wright, with a design studio on the 1st floor, living space on the 2nd floor, with the 3rd and 4th floors rented out. The rear studio space featured an S-shaped wall comprised entirely of six foot high double hung windows overlooking the garden.
