This building was built as a Kroger and served as such until the early 1990s, and became "Texans' Warehouse Foods" for a few years after that as California-based Megafoods tried to make it stand in the area after buying the San Antonio-area stores. Afterwards, it became a Hastings, a store that sold music, movies, and video games until it closed in fall 2016 after its parent company went out of business. The current tenant, Conn's HomePlus, opened in March 2018, but the distinctive Kroger "Greenhouse" facade was demolished.
