162-foot, 120-story Art-Deco office building completed in 1926. Designed by Parker & Schaffer, it is clad in buff-colored brick. The piers separate the facade into wide bays of windows four panes across (ten bays along Varick, and six bays each on Houston and Clarkson Streets), with brick paneling in the spandrels between floors. The main entrance is framed in white stone. The top floor is set back in the center, with , with vertical fins of white stone decorating the piers on the top two floors and rising just above the roof line. The ground floor is occupied by an HSBC bank branch, Getting Hungry cafe/deli/juice bar, Hudson Square Stop & Shop, and Clarkson restaurant. New York Sports Club on the second floor.
