256-foot, 23-story Modern futurist hotel completed in 2008 as the Cooper Square Hotel. Designed by Carlos Zapata and Perkins Eastman Architects. The design incorporates a 19th-century tenement into its base, with a sleek glass tower that is narrow where it joins the base and swells in the middle before tapering again at the penthouse level.

The hotel houses the restaurant Faustina, run by chef Scott Conant. The hotel was sold and rebranded as The Standard in 2011.
