Carmeli Brigade
The Brigade comprises in x4 battalions numbered 21,22,23 & 24 which recruit from communities within and between Haifa and Nahariya. The Brigade has a long and distinguished history of participation in the military history of Israeli from the War of Independence 1947 when the first battalion 21 was raised to fight in the Zabulon Valley area between Haifa and Acre.

Base is home to parts of the 22nd 'Technicals' Battalion of the Carmeli Brigade. Forces are raised exclusively from the Haifa area.
