Rupsha upazila is close to the district town Khulna. The area of upazilla in 120 sq km. It has 5 Unions with 64 Village with 40956 household. All the union are not accessible through road.The population is around 175137. The upazilla health complex is located in the center of the upazilla. The Socio-economic Condition is very poor, Most of the house is mud-made road condition is poor. In rainy Season most of the land goes under water due to overflow in the river. Peoples depend on agriculture, Fishing and small enterprise business.
