This JCPenney's exterior was prominently seen in the 1985 film "Back to the Future". The department store closed, however in 1998. The space and its adjacent wing were gutted, with the Penney's space now occupied by 24 Hour Fitness and Burlington Coat Factory (the latter of which extends into the mall corridors). A "Venetian Furniture Gallery" is on the upper level.
