Built in 1900 as a patent medicine manufacturer and mail order business. By 1915 Boss Manufacturing Company took over this location, making cloth gloves and mittens. Around 1955 General Electric used this building to refurbish air conditioning compressors. By 1969 Nation Auto Parts used the location for warehousing and distribution of auto parts. Through the mid 70's to about 1985 it was Village Furniture, selling new and used items. From 1988 to 2003 it was Karen's Antique Mall. Currently the building is the home of Fort Wayne MakerSpace and Fairfield Lofts & Storage
