Boulder Ridge Trail 605

Climbers use this trail as an approach to Mt. Baker. The route is muddy, brushy and difficult to follow beyond two miles. The trail wanders through the forest for two miles and turns into a boot path. Continue climbing through the forest and eventually break out on the Boulder Moraine. Follow the trail through the moraine to the base of the cliff at Boulder Ridge. You will need to climb the cliff to access the ridge.
The ridge offers open meadows and excellent views of Mt. Baker and the Boulder Glacier. The trail is not maintained beyond the two-mile mark.
