The monument is at the foot of the mountain Kournovo ( Trilofo today ), namely
point of execution is in the village of Agios Stefanos . There on June 6, 1943
executed 106 patriots in pleiopsifeia the Communist prisoners
  from Acronauplia that took them from the camp of Larissa.
Among them was the former secretary of the Communist Party Pantelis Pouliopoulos .
The execution was carried out by Italians conquerors in retaliation for blowing
the tunnels and train in Kournovo ( 06/03/1943 ) . From blowing destroyed the entire train about 1,000 Italian passengers .
