NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, 1910_construction, former train/railway station

Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, this Tudor Revival-style former train station was built in 1910 by the Pennsylvania & Lake Erie Railroad to serve the community of Woodlawn (now part of Aliquippa) which was then developing around the Jones & Laughlin steel mill. Passenger service lasted until mid-1985 when the P&LE commuter train from Beaver Falls to Pittsburgh made its final run. The building housed the main offices of J&L Structural Steel for a number of years until bankruptcy forced the company out in late 2003.
