Near the Kodigehalli Railway Station in Bangalore, close to the police station, is a small Hanuman temple locally reputed to date back from the time of the Cholas. It is called the Halekote Hanuman Temple. The Hanuman Temple of the old fort. The present caretaker of the temple is the 6th generation priest. This temple runs on what people donate. It is not under the government.
