    Re: Saheb Bandh:- Whatever happened to the name "Nibaran sayer". The name was changed to "Nabaran Sayer" in honour of the great National Leader. Does anybody remember him now? There is a Statue of him in the middle of Purulia Town.

    Further to the above comment on Saheb Bandh I'd like to contact any alumnii of Manbhum Victoria Institution.I am currently living in Canada but Purulia is my birthplace and I visit whenever I can. I spent very enjyable three months at Purulia from December 2007 to February 2008.

    Baranti is a small village at Purulia. Few months back I stayed at Baranti in Lake Hill Resort. The Place is so nice that you can't imagine. I decided to stay again in monsoon with my family. Really it is good tourist spot.
