Final resting place of many of Detroit's most prominent citizens including members of the Dodge (automobile), Hudson (department store), Stroh (brewery) and Ford (motor), Grinnell (music store) families as well as Governor Alexander Groesbeck and Mayor James Couzens.
Numerous Motown musicians are also buried here, such as David Ruffin (of the Temptations) and Levi Stubbs (of the Four Tops).
Perhaps most noteworthy, Rosa Parks is interred here.
