This is the location of the "Kansas City Plant" which completed its move from the Bannister Federal Complex in September 2014. This is the site, Kansas City Plant, where a majority of non-nuclear components for nuclear weapons are manufactured and assembled. This is a publicly owned facility (Kansas City, MO), property managed by Center Point Zimmer, leased to the Department of Energy. Operations are contractor operated with Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies L.L.C. being the Primary Contractor.
