  yes..the Deffenbaugh family has run this very large dump for many years. The very affluent Johnson County puts out..as you can imagine...huge amounts of trash. This makes the Deffenbaughs money. Do look at google maps and see the aerial photo of this landfill...it is huge. I imagine it will close in a few years..after all...you can only pile it so high!
