3-story (plus raised basement) Italianate diplomatic building originally completed in the 1870s as a townhouse. It now houses the Consulate-General of the Republic of Peru in New York. The facade is clad in brownstone, and has a high stoop on the left, with iron handrails. The entrance at the parlor floor has wood-and-glass double-doors and a fanlight in a simple enframement. To the right at two tall single-windows. There is a basement entry in the side of the stoop, and next to it are two single-windows with iron grilles. The upper floors have three bays of single-windows, and all of the window openings are segmental-arched. The facade is crowned by a brown metal roof cornice with console brackets, modillions, dentils, and panels. A flagpole extends from the middle bay below the 2nd floor.
