The name of my village is Bagapunji. This is a small village. The earlier & in revenue map, the name was Baghapunji. Total population of this village is around 400. This is coming under Nampo G.P. A narrow road is touching to the main Jaleswar-Chandaneswar road. The condition of the road inside our villlage is not good. No Govt. aid is coming to make the road wide and concrete. As this village is lying in the boarder of Jaleswar and Bhograi Assembly Constitueny, nobody is looking after our village. Previously our Assembly Constitueny was Bhograi and Tahasil was Jaleswar. Now it is changed and coming under Jaleswar both Tahasil and Assembly Constituency. There is small canal (Khala) is flowing beside our village. For that we are suffering a lot. Every year during rainy season, huge amount of rain water from west bengal will be passed through this canal destroying the cultivation. Our village is mainly depends on cultivation. because of huge amount of rain water passing through nearby agrucultural lands and that water making flood every year and destroying the crops. There is no permanent solution from Govt. So people are struggling for that.
