A large surburb north of Amman, located in the mountainous area east (new Abu Nuseir) and west (old Abu Nuseir) of Jordan Street. Most of the new areas are around 1,000 metres above sea level and enjoy cool nights even in the hot summer months. In return, they tend to get abundant amounts of snow for one to two weeks a year.
