Old Oakland, formally known as the Old Oakland Historic District. Located on the northwest side of Broadway, between the City Center complex and the Jack London Square district, and across Broadway from Chinatown. Holds many late 1800s historic buildings. The area is now a hot spot for new restaurants and bars and has a farmers market on 9th street on Fridays.
