The Key System Building is a Beaux Arts style building constructed in 1911 designed by Frederick H. Meyer. Originally the building housed a bank but then in 1943 it became the headquarters for the Key System transit line. The building has sat vacant since the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places as # 82002166.
