The YMCA Institute Of Engineering ,Faridabad was established in the year 1969,as a joint venture of the National Council Of YMCAs of India , Govt Of Haryana,and the Central Agencies for Development Aid ,Bonn, Germany .It started as an Indo-German project with an aim to impart technical education to a developing India on German pattern .

Best students from all over Haryana come to get education and indeed get placed in some of the very good engineering organizations like Siemens, LG, Samsung, Intel, Cadance, STMicroelectronics, Oracle, Yamaha to name a few. Situated in the heart of Faridabad, 15km from delhi faridabad border, it is at one of the best locations in the city. Good profs and 60:40 theory practical ratio makes the students learn the practical along with the theoretical concepts in depth.
