  • One of the fastest growing tech. institute. Strict management, never let you go off the track. Nice infra i.e Hostels, labs etc. But for our dismay, it had also produced punks like 'skk' above.

  • Don't agree with you Anubhav. Just a month back my cousin got placed in Wipro. In fact not just him but 40 more students were placed there and some 40 more in Infosys. So they are doing quite well academically and placement wise. So far as there location is concerned, agreed it is a bit far but the peaceful and pollution free environment has its advantages. Besides it is on Delhi-Agra highway, so connectivity is quite good. Please refrain from using abusive language on a public forum
  • Mr. Anubahv, i think you are lost somewhere. GLA is very cultured place to be in. Faculty is too good.To be honest i had a wonderful experience at GLA ! Reading above comment of Anubhav makes me wonder. The university's ambiance is very energetic and full of activities. Staff is equally supportive, the best thing about GLA is its libraries. My experience was learning. Anubhav ka Anubhav sunke mujhe daya aa gai. Anubhav first change your name, then may be tumhaara anubhav accha ho jaae.
  • I don't find any point in criticizing GLA as Anubhav (the guy in the comment thread) did. My experience in GLA has been good. I have studied for 4years there and had a good learning experience. Professors bahot supportive hain aur campus bhi accha hai, aur yeh national highway pe hai, koi jungle nahi hai. Infact, mera younger brother abhi vahan padh bhi raha hai.
  • Workshops in colleges on different issues related to the courses are very much important for the students. GLA University had conduct numerous workshops on improving communication skills as we understand how important it is to have the right use of words and body language for a students career. Wipro started Mission 10X programme in collaboration with GLA to groom the faculty members and to provide them with professional expertise thereby improving their ability. Workshop on Theory of Computation had been organized by the computer science department in the past to discuss new technologies so that knowledge can be gained in the field of computers.

  • "Recently a pharmacy conference ""New Horizons in Pharmacy and Pharmacology"" was held at GLA University on Feb15-Feb16,2014.The objective of the conference was to bring together leading scientists, researchers, scholars and practitioners from academia and industry to present their recent momentous scientific advances & findings and exchange their experiences and research results about all aspects of Pharmacy and Pharmacology for the improvement of human health. Only eight best original research oriented papers were considered for oral presentation out of which one was selected for YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD. The Age limit for this award was below 35 years. The submissions were invited for some of the Research Areas including Molecular Pharmacology,Preclinical & Clinical Research,Toxicology, Cardiovascular Pharmacology,Neuropharmacology, Phytopharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Technology , DRA & IPR,Pharmaceutical Chemistry,Quality Assurance. The last date of submission of papers was 31st Jan,2014. The conference was overall a success and it gave an opportunity to the contestants to disseminate knowledge and facilitate the exchange of new ideas among the members of same profession.
