  Majority of the Residents are From one Sir Name UPPU , Village is divided into two parts Kothapally and PathaPally . Major crops include Paddy, Cotton , Sugar cane , Maize etc. Village has no irrigation facility , agriculture is mainly dependent on deepwater bore wells , even though situated just 4 to 5km radial distance from lOWER Manair DAM,S back waters , deep borewells are drilled often , since the village is at an elevation.
