panoramic view, woodland

Vrouwenheide is a small area consisting of a hill with an oak tree woodland. This is the second highest point of the Netherlands.
This hill is part of the so called Ubachsberg Island which was preserved during the formation of the old Meuse River because it stuck out of the waters.
In the wood, the ruins of the observation tower are still visible.
