(Outline approximate.)
This was the site of a historic livery stable, built circa 1882 originally as the Miller and Barbour livery by Henry F. Miller and W.H. Barbour. It was later owned by the Manitou Transfer Company.
It burned down in a 1904 fire which also consumed the Norris House hotel and the Sherwood curio shop (previously the Mumper grocery).
After its stable burned down, the Manitou Transfer Company merged with Hutchinson and Sawin's Manitou Livery Company to form the Manitou Livery and Transfer Company.
