  • All!!! I feels this place would be really Njoying for Fishing n Boating but worried Is that allowed? I know the Dam capacity is too big and handles whole area for water supply including Jalgaon.

  • I have visited GIRNA DAM recently. A very good picnic spot. You can spend a full day here ,can play cricket,playing cards and other game as well as do swimming in dam water. If you stay there still evening u can see a lot of deers raoming around. route 1 : Chalisgaon-Nyaydongri-nandgaon-sakore-vehelgaon-girna dam (60km) route 2: chalisgaon-pilkhod-girna dam (app 45 Km)

  • I proud on it, it is the largest second dam in maharashtra. through this dam 10 lakh peoples are satisfied for drinking water. it covers 10000 ekres farm under irrigation system. my grand father take hard work for getting permission for dam construction.
