The Pacific Electric Railway (AAR reporting mark PE), also known as the Red Car system, was a mass transit system in Southern California using streetcars, light rail and buses. It operated from 1901 to 1961.
One of the Red Car trolleys has been preserved as a museum in Seal Beach, California. It is on display in the green belt that was the former Red Car right-of-way in Seal Beach. Open the second and fourth Saturdays of every month from noon to 3 p.m.
